The son of the late Hard Livings Gangs boss Rashied Staggie, has been shot dead. Dullah Staggie was with a group of people in Beatrix Lane, Mannenburg, Cape Town, last night, when multiple shots were fired. Appears to have been a hit.

"It was scary. It sounded like he was choking while he lay on the ground as blood streamed out of his body. There was so much blood that one lady even tried to put her hand on the wound to stop the blood. But [he] died. Anyway, it was very sad," one resident said.

Another resident added: "Now we can expect anything. They were gunning for [him] for a long time and now that they eventually got him, I hate to think what's going to happen now on [the] flats."

Three women arrested as NDLEA intercepts 972.5kg parcels of cannabis, 721 ampoules of pentazocine injection and other illicit drugs Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, have arrested three women and seized parcels of cannabis, pentazocine injections and other illicit drugs.  Spokesperson of the agency, Femi Babfemi, who disclosed this in a statement on Sunday, September 18, said Mary Ugwu and Hawwa Idi, were arrested at Anchau town in Kubau Local Government Area of Kaduna State with 721 ampoules of pentazocine injection; 37,000 tablets of exol-5 and nine ampoules of diazepam injection as well as 6.8kg of rubber solution. According to the spokesman, NDLEA operatives raided an electronic shop at Alaba Intl market in Lagos, recovered 972.5kg of cannabis and arrested a 38-year-old woman, Mrs. Ebere Aja.
